Donate Central is a multipurpose, 501(C)(3), non-profit corporation established to fund carefully selected, short-term, charitable projects.

Projects funded through Donate Central are carefully reviewed upfront and monitored throughout to ensure their charitable purpose and the proper use of the funds raised. This process has several steps and requirements.

  • An initial project application is required to identify the participants, describe the project, and estimate the funding needed.
  • If the project is accepted for funding, a separate online account will be established to collect and disburse the funds.
  • Fund disbursements must be made to commercial businesses, not to project participants.
  • Receipts for tax-deductible donations will be issued contingent upon an end-of-project report of expenditures and project success.
  • Excess funds, upon project completion, can be donated to other pre-designated charitable organizations.
